Why is it so important to do this now? The short answer is because "God told us to." We've totally outgrown our Children's Ministry space. Moving the youth ministry into the new Family Life Center will free up desperately needed space for our children. Current trends indicate that this need will only grow more urgent as time goes by.

Horizons is known as a church that promotes growth. Just one glimpse into the children's ministry area on Sunday morning will show you the urgent need for more room.

We want to provide a safe place where children can grow with God and each other. With the redesign of the Children's Church "Rock Solid Kids," by Wacky World Ministries, we'll be able to offer children an exciting and inviting environment, a place they are proud of and can't wait to invite their friends to.

As the children move into middle school and high school our BIG GOD Youth Ministries (BGYM) is going to experience rapid growth as well.

We can't transform the existing Children's Ministry Area until we've built a new home for our Youth Ministry. A place that will "belong" to them- with areas for recreation, worship, teaching and plenty of "hang" space. Our new Family Life Center will house BGYM, a multi-purpose gymnatorium, a full size kitchen, Help on the Horizons Food Pantry, and more.

We have excellent teams ministering to our children and teens. These tools will help them to be even more effective in reaching future generations for Christ!
