In addition to counseling and teaching responsibilities, he is active in teaching the 301 Spiritual Shape classes, LifeGroups and in the community, through community service. Ron joined the pastorate at Horizons part-time in 2002, going full time in the ministry as of January 2003.
Ron lives in Bridgeport with his wife, Cynthia and his twin girls, Meredith & Marina. Ron's oldest daughter, Rachelle graduated Virginia Tech at Blacksburg, VA in December 2007 (YEAH) and is living in Blacksburg at the present time. Ron's wife Cynthia, loves Ron(she just can't help herself), helping Pastor Kelly in the Children’s Ministry, assisting with worship, children’s activities, Kids Camp and children’s classes.
Prior to joining the Horizons Leadership team, Ron and Cynthia owned and operated an established local business that they purchased in 1991 after working and operating the business for much of his adult life(he began in the company at the age of 19 (wow he is old). They sold the business in 1997.
Ron’s interests include; guitar, harmonica, classical music and faith based music of all kinds, graphic design and illustration, singing, working with the children's ministry, assisting Pastor Don with the youth, Golf (which he now only fondly remembers), and Football season.
